When you first create a task in Slack, a drop-down message menu is available underneath the task.

Click the ellipses (three dots) and then select "Remove."

If the task was created a while ago, you can still delete the task.

1. Type /todo list to bring up the list of tasks in the channel

2. Next to the task you want to delete, click on ellipsis (three dots)

3. Click on "View details"

4. Click on the red button that says "Delete task".

5. Confirm that this task is the one you want to delete. This is not reversible.

Deleted tasks are not recoverable.
